Rate My Pitch

The Chicago Committee’s signature program will return this year! Rate My Pitch connects law firm attorneys and in-house counsel for business development and client relationship skill building. Law firm attorneys will work as teams to create a mock pitch to a corporate legal department. The panel of in-house counsel will give feedback and award the team with the most effective pitch.

2025 Annual Meeting & Conference

Look forward to our Annual Meeting on October 16! This year will also include programming for law firm attorneys and in-house counsel before the Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting banquet will feature a keynote speaker, Diversity Awards, and networking! We will be sending more details soon!

Partner Dinner

The Chicago Committee will host its Partner Dinner again this summer. Member firm partners will be invited for an evening of conversation and making connections.

LegalTrek

The Chicago Committee and DePaul University College of Law are partnering to host LegalTrek, a summer program for undergraduate students interested in the legal profession. During six class sessions, the students learn about different practice areas, the law school application process, and LSAT prep. They also participate in mock negotiations, a mock trial, and visit a law firm. Attorneys volunteered as mentors and coaches for the program. Associate and In-House Counsel Bash

The Associate Board this annual, lively event for associates and in-house counsel. The reception provides an opportunity for the attorneys to meet and network.

Associate Board Boot Camp

The Associate Board of Directors will host their annual Junior Associate Boot Camp. This event will include panel discussions with senior associates and partners from prominent Chicago law firms, the program will discuss topics such as navigating law firm life, mentorship, and professional development.

Associate Board CLE

The Associate Board annually presents a unique CLE program on a diversity and inclusion related, professional development topic.

Linking Leaders

As a resource for leaders at member law firms, the Chicago Committee will develop a group for managing partners, executive committee members, office managing partners, and practice group leaders to share ideas and experiences.

Chicago Committee Connect

To provide more updates and outreach to our member firms, the Chicago Committee will host meetings for member firm inclusion leaders. The meetings will also give an opportunity for the member firms to provide ideas and feedback.
