LegalTrek
LegalTrek is a summer program designed to provide a hands-on, comprehensive overview of the legal profession to college students. LegalTrek’s mission is to diversify the legal profession by encouraging and supporting college students to attend law school. LegalTrek is a collaboration between the Chicago Committee for Minorities in Law Firms and DePaul University College of Law. During six class sessions, students learned about different practice areas, the law school application process, and LSAT prep. They also participated in mock negotiations, a mock trial, and visit a law firm. Attorneys volunteer as mentors and coaches for the program. We are accepting applications until May 15, 2026.
