The Chicago Committee’s Mentorship Academy 2017 concluded on November 9, 2017 at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Mentorship Academy is a business development program led by Lane Vanderslice, a former partner at Mayer Brown LLP and currently a consultant at Volta Talent Strategies LLC. Mentorship Academy seeks to build strong professional relationships and strategic business development skills by assigning attorneys to triads comprised of a partner, senior associate, and junior associate.
Throughout the course of the year, The Chicago Committee hosted seven Mentorship Academy sessions. During this final session, participants began by expressing the ways in which the program helped them both professionally and personally, as they openly discussed their future goals and the most important skills that they learned from the program.
The Chicago Committee would like to thank the Mentorship Academy 2017 participants and Lane Vanderslice for their commitment to the program. We continue to receive positive feedback regarding Mentorship Academy. For more information regarding Mentorship Academy and other Chicago Committee programs, please click here.
